The cloud-native platform, complete with a rich set of computational tools, harnesses the power of collaboration and innovation to provide a one-stop data workshop for VA employees and external collaborators. Users can easily collaborate and work together to produce solutions that drive the quality of patient treatment and outcomes.

Applications deployed in Arches share a single instance of Veteran data from VA’s Corporate Data Warehouse that is stored in a protected environment, so users can participate in a rich ecosystem that is not subject to vendor lock-in.
In addition to real VA patient data, Arches makes synthetic patient data readily available as a reliable and accurate alternative. Synthetic data increases opportunities for access and enhances Veteran privacy. See more
