Suicide Prevention Trials Database
The Suicide Prevention Trials Database (SPTD) is a publicly available database of study-level data from published trials of suicide prevention approaches. The database may be used for future systematic reviews or clinical practice guidelines, for identifying research gaps, and as an information resource for clinicians, patients, policymakers, and family members.
The SPTD utilizes systematic review methods to search for, identify, and compile data from relevant trials. Researchers abstract detailed data elements related to participant, intervention, comparator, outcome, and other study characteristics, and conduct risk of bias assessments.
