Spring Highlights

In early 2024, Health Systems Research (HSR) and QUERI have already seen significant progress. We’ve gathered feedback from over 200 leaders and researchers, leading to new strategic plans and enhanced communication with our partners. In February, Network Directors identified top priorities for FY24, including:

1. Optimizing Veteran care across various services.
2. Preventing Veteran suicide through public health approaches and community partnerships.
3. Fostering a culture of safety and innovation.

We’re also excited to announce our new call for proposals: the QUERI Data Science Learning Health System Request for Applications. This edition of QUERI News highlights awardees focused on homelessness prevention and improving geriatrics services, and we look forward to funding more projects that advance our key priorities.
